Distance engravings in white.
This is the only Takumar lens with the black and chrome focus ring. An all black version also exists.
Variations: The front bezel reads either “Auto-Takumar 1:1.8 f=55mm” or “Auto-Takumar 1:1.9 f=55mm”.
The “f/1·9” was exclusively supplied with the Tower 29 cameras, sold by Sears, Roebuck & Co.
