Long-focus lens with relatively wide aperture for extended distance coverage of sports, wildlife, news, record and surveillance subjects. Has tripod socket for better balance, but can be used hand-held at minimum shutter speed of 1/250 sec., preferably at 1/500 or 1/1000 sec. Image magnification compared with 50mm is 6x (36 areas). Pronounced background compression effects.1


Distance engravings in yellow (metres) and blue (feet); red IR marker; removable rotating tripod collar; built-in extending lens hood.

The same optical design as the Super-Takumar 1:4/300 lens.
