Variations: The distance scale on the earliest samples is either in metres or feet (in white), minimum focus is 1·8 metres (6 feet), no ½-stops, and a narrower focus ring; on later samples the distance scale is in both metres and feet (in white), and 1·8 metres is unmarked; on last samples the distance scale is in both metres (yellow) and feet (blue), minimum focus is 2 metres (feet unmarked), and ½-stops marked with dots. Front bezel reads either “Takumar 1:3.5 f=135mm” or “Takumar 1:3.5/135”.
